Support Our Outreach
My name is Kristina Harrison, RN. I am creating this fundraiser because I’ve had the privilege of watching my friends and coworkers build Hispanic Nurses of Minnesota from the ground up. I’ve seen firsthand the time, heart, and determination they have poured into creating something that has never existed in Minnesota.
To take this work into the community, funds raised will help create a reusable outreach booth with a branded canopy, banners, table displays, QR-code materials, and other supplies for community events across Minnesota. These materials will help us meet people where they are and share trusted health information at a time when the immigration climate and fear are causing some people to delay or avoid care. Fear should never be a barrier to healthcare; healthcare only works when people feel safe enough to use it.
